Northern Rivers Land Solutions was founded by business owner, Tony Hart in 2012.
We have grown from a surveying staff of two, to a professional team of eight in our five years of operation in the Northern Rivers Region.
Our team consists of Director and Registered Surveyor, Tony Hart, two graduate surveyors and a town planner, CAD operator, field assistant and an administration officer.

With over 35 years in the surveying and development industry, Tony Hart, is able to assist with all your project needs. Tony has wide range of knowledge spanning from small scale local developments to International Border Mapping as part of the Eritrea/Ethiopia Border Mapping for the United Nations.Tony holds Registration in New South Wales, and is a founding member of Aspect North and Landpartners.
Tony is a members of Consulting Surveyors NSW and Board of Surveying and Spacial Information (BOSSI)
Our Senior Town Planner, Mikaela McNamara, has commenced working within the development industry in 2007 while completing her studies for the Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of New England in 2009. Since her graduation, Mikaela has been working in both private and public organisations in New South Wales, Queensland and the Northern Territory, and is happy to provide you with sound town planning knowledge and assistance.

Ben has been working and studying in the Surveying Industry since 2004. While studying at the University of Southern Queensland in Toowoomba for his Bachelor of Spatial Science, Ben worked as a Survey Assistant during his University holidays. Since completing his Bachelor in 2009, he has been involved in a variety of projects along the NSW North Coast and South-east Queensland.
Ben has extensive experience in cadastral and engineering surveys. Ben has been involved in major projects including the Pacific Highway Upgrade, Ferngrove Estate, Banyan Hill and the Wollongbar Urban Expansion Area.
Rusty has completed his Bachelor of Engineering - Surveying & Spatial Information Systems at University of New South Wales in 2010 and has been working in the industry ever since. His initial few years saw him travel extensively throughout Australia with his involvement in seismic surveys for mining exploration. He then worked throughout the gas fields in Queensland before returning to his home town of Lennox Head in 2015 working as a cadastral surveyor.
Andrea commenced working in the Surveying Industry in 1999 as an apprentice. After finishing her 4-year apprenticeship and gaining some work experience as a Surveyor in Switzerland, she moved to Australia where she has been involved in a broad variety of surveying projects working in the field as well as in the office. Andrea has taken on a new role as our Office Administrator and enjoys the new experience.
Aaron has 25 years experience in the surveying industry and is trained in various CAD and Graphic software packages. With a keen understanding of spatial information, Aaron is responsible for the production of Subdivision plans and illustrations for Development Applications.
Involvement in major projects include the St. Helena Tunnel, Ferngrove Estate and the Banyan Hill development.
Paul has worked in the property and construction industry for 8 years and holds both a Bachelor of Environments & Master of Property (Valuation & Development) from the University of Melbourne. Paul has experience working on small & large scale projects as well as being involved in the initial planning and acquisition processes. Paul currently assists the team in planning and surveying as well as project management.
Gene is our survey assistant. He studied his secondary school at Ballina Coast High School and completed year 12 in 2018. Gene is a keen learner and hopes to become a surveyor in the near future.
